Wendy C. Ault, M.D., M.A. a native of California, received her undergraduate degree with honors in chemistry from Hollins College. She did her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia and pediatric residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. She holds a post-doctoral diploma in Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry and a masters degree in Clinical Ethics from the University of Virginia. Dr. Ault lives in Sudley Springs with her daughter Sarah. Her hobbies include environmental causes, horses, corgies, cooking and ecclesiastical embroidery.
Anita R. Flower, M.D. was born and raised near New York City and received her B.S. degree with honors in biochemistry from the SUNY at Binghamton, NY. She received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in 1986 after which she moved to the D.C. area to do her residency training at Children's National Medical Center. She has been in practice in Manassas since completing her residency in 1989. She completed a graduate program in medical management through the Johns Hopkins University in 1999. Dr. Flower and her husband have 3 daughters and she has been active as a Girl Scout leader for over 10 years. She enjoys many outdoor activities year-round but her favorite is downhill skiing.
Erik Granados, M.D. a native of Guatemala, Central America, received his medical degree from the National University of San Carlos in Guatemala. He completed his pediatric training at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, then joined the staff of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore for a year as Chief Resident of Pediatrics. He lives in Centreville with his wife and two children. Dr. Granados enjoys doing home improvements and cooking in his free time.
Marsha A. Mason, M.D. graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Biology. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her pediatric internship and residency at the Children's Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. She belongs to the Virginia and Prince William County Medical Societies and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She was listed in Washingtonian Magazine's "Top Doctor's in the Washington, D.C. Area" in 2005 and 2008. She recently completed the American Board of Pediatrics Maintenance of Certification examination. Dr. Mason and her husband have 3 children. She enjoys traveling, gardening and following ACC college basketball.
Elizabeth Dougherty Flynn, M.D. joined Manassas Pediatrics in July 1997 after completing her pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center. She is originally from the Philadelphia area and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton, and her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Flynn has served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Prince William Hospital. She has been recognized by Washingtonian magazine as one of the region's "top doctors" in the practice of pediatrics in each of the publication's last three issues dedicated to the topic, most recently in March 2010. Dr. Flynn and her husband have two children. When not working, Dr. Flynn enjoys gardening, being outdoors and cheering loudly for her children at their baseball and soccer games and Irish dance performances.
Sandra Stewart, RN, CPNP is originally from New Jersey and received her RN Diploma from Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1987. She subsequently earned her BSN from Rutger's University in 1990 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 1998 at the University of Pittsburgh. Since starting her nursing career, Sandra has worked in primary, acute and critical care in the field of pediatrics. She resides with her husband in Haymarket where they are the proud adoptive parents to twins, Kate and Sam. Sandra enjoys scrapbooking, golf, spoiling her dogs and collecting antiques.
